What is censorship?

speech – but a restriction on words, videos or songs that is produced from you, me or others for the general public to listen or simply enjoy. But in which the government and media outlets have edited or completely discarded because they are afraid that what you have created is harmful, politically a false statement, too much for the faint-hearted to witness. A crime that they assume may differ how the public will think and act from and merge into a panic. Due to what you as a creative individual have produced.

Creativity is a tool, but those who don’t understand it only fear it, only see it as a weapon that’ll harm and effect the human mind. So in order to protect themselves these groups of the governments and institutions with the media. Suppress what originality or idea you have created so humanity is prevented from falling into havoc. Or suppressing creativity.

What can be censored?

There is a censorship for everything that you create and use in reality, must the artist be bounded for morality to understand?

The Australian Censorship rules under a different name called Classification, a technical advisory  rating that can refuse, ban or restrict a variety of categories such as sales and marketing, exhibitions, under aged individuals using equipment or materials that don’t prohibit their age. Video games and of all of them the Internet. Yet When Australia faces the rest of the western nations this large country titles number one as the most strictest censored or should I say – classified of all the western censorship authorities.

Kind of makes you wonder why this county has such strong censorship. Could it be that it does help and protect the people from the dangers behind censorship, Or is that the Government is just a hard ass with rules?

At times I think censorship must draw a line to how much they want to keep ban or discard themes from society. But I do acknowledge that censorship can be of good use to ban themes that may encourage or conceive the younger minds to develop foolish behaviors. Or start a mass panic or conflict between civilians.

I believe censorship is just another rule that you will have to live with, a rule that requires some – but not to much. Enough to prevent chaos but not too much to start a riot with the civilians of society.
